Introducing- The Ice Dye Club!

Give your old clothes new life with an ice dye bath! We choose a new color (or a few) each month, you drop off your clothing (natural fibers please) and we dye it for you! Drop off any time we're open in October and we'll have it ready to pick up on November 4th.

 

FAQ:

*What can I bring?

We can currently only dye items with confidence if they are more than 60% cotton or other natural fibers like linen, bamboo, silk or rayon. We do not dye leather, fur, or other animal skins.

Your items should be machine washable and suited for low heat in the dryer. 

Any color can be dyed, but the lighter and more neutral it is, the closer to the sample your item will be.

Items should be pre-washed and dried because dirty items will ruin the dye for everyone and and shrinking should occur at home.

*What happens if my item is damaged?

We do everything in our power to look over items and make sure they won’t be damaged before we accept them, but sometimes these things can’t be helped. Feel Goods is not responsible for any damage to your dye bath items, but we will work with you to save something (via mending, altering or reworking) because the whole point is keeping these items out of the landfill.

*How should I wash dyed items?

We’ll do a lot of rinsing here, but just to be extra safe, please wash your dyed items separately in cold water for the first wash. All of your clothing will last longer if it is hand-washed with cold water and air-dried, but after that first wash you can follow normal washing instructions per your specific items.
